The Dyslexia Foundation is pleased to announce that Deborah Baker Jr. is joining TDF’s Honorary Board.
Deborah, who has dyslexia, has never let this deter her from pursuing her passion as an actor. In fact, her learning difference has helped her understand that there are many different learning styles. She attributes her learning strategies as a factor in her career successes.
She currently plays “Esther” on the hit CBS show “The Great Indoors” (nominated for best new comedy – 2017 People’s Choice Awards), and “Denise” on IFC’s “Stan Against Evil.”
She looks forward to serving as a TDF Honorary Board Member, and as a role model for children with dyslexia, especially those who are struggling with learning how to read.
