Ola Ozernov-Palchik, M.A.
Cognitive Science and Child Development
Ola is a Cognitive Science and Child Development doctoral student at Tufts University under the mentorship of Dr. Maryanne Wolf. Ola conducts research with Dr. Nadine Gaab at Boston Children’s Hospital and Dr. John Gabrieli at MIT on the neuroanatomical underpinnings of reading. Additionally, Ola works with Dr. Aniruddh Patel on investigating the role of rhythm abilities in reading. Ola has been working in the field of reading research for over 10 years, evaluating the efficacy of large scale RTI studies, developing computer-adaptive reading assessments for elementary school children, and using MRI, EEG, and behavioral methods to investigate early predictors of dyslexia.
