Anthony Bashir, Ph.D.
Professor Emeritus
Emerson College

Retiring in 2009 after serving Emmerson College for 20 years, Dr. Bashir is now a Professor Emeritus.  Before serving at Emerson, Bashir was a coordinator of speech-language pathology, Department of Otolaryngology, at The Children’s Hospital, Boston. He earned his Ph.D. from Northwestern, is a certified speech-language pathologist and fellow of ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association). He has also been the chairperson of the ASHA Joint Committee on Learning Disabilities and is the author of numerous articles.
